Insufficient Security Privilege

Hi All,

Environment:

I have an InfoPath SP1 Form published to a SharePoint Portal Server 2003
Document Library.  The users can open the form via a web browser, complete
relevant fields and submit back to the SPS Doc Library.

Problem:

The above works great except on a handful of PC's that receive the
insufficient security privilege error message when attempting to open the
form from the Intranet page (form security is configured correctly).

However, if I jump on their PC and browse to the actual doc library (hidden
form their view) the form will open via the Submit New Form built into SPS.
The error message only appears when attempting to call the form via a link on
the front end Web page.

The only PC's where the error occurs are those with InfoPath SP1 Build
Number 11.6357.6360.

PC's with InfoPath SP1 Build Number 11.6357.6408 everything is OK.

I have ran all Windows and Office Updates but cannot get the PC's with the
error up to version 11.6357.6408.  KB886903 .Net 1.1 Framework Update is
installed on all PC's.

Any help on how to get these PC's up to version 11.6357.6408 very very much
appreciated!!!

Baffled,
Elliott

Hi,

Managed to get the version updated using the following Updates:

KB887982
KB885828

However, this did not resolve the issue.  We backed up and renamed the user
profile and recreated it - this resolved the issue and the InfoPath Form now
works correctly from the Web page.

Thanks
Elliott
