I need help! Does infopath allow you to create a form to enter in the same
field with different values (like an online checkout, where you enter in the
item numbers), then produce an output that populates the fields and gives a
detailed report ( i.e., description of item). I can do it using one value,
but I do not know how to do it for many values. I am using an existing
database as my source. Can anyone help me? I am using Infopath 2003.

Try using Repeating Tables or Repeating Sections; they will allow you to
have several entities of the same type (i.e. several text boxes to
specify the quantity of the good purchased).
You can have an input-output scenario using multiple views: in the first
view, you would prompt the user to enter quantities for goods. In the
second view, you would show a detailed report of what the user is
purchasing (i.e. a description for each item).
Let me know if you need more help.
Good luck,
