I created a new InfoPath template using VS.NET 2003
and then published it to a fold in my computer. But I failed to open the
template with InfoPath. One error happened, saying "Microsoft Office InfoPath
encountered a problem and will be closed".  I appreciate if you can help me
with this question.

I have seen this problem a couple of times.
I start by making sure I am at the newest version & SP of InfoPath (on the
destination machine).  From http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/default.aspx,
follow the "Check for Updates" link on the right side of the page, etc.
Next, I make sure I have .net 1.1 installed on the machine.  You can get
that from http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/.  Follow the link that says
".NET Framework Version 1.1 Redistributable Package".
9 times out of 10 that should take care of it.
Good luck
