I have followed the instructions & online training for designing a form based
on a database.  The form design and everything works great - my drop down
lists are using my DB source.  The only problem is I can't get the submit to
connect to the database.  When I add the submit control to my form there is
no option to connect to Acces, only email/webserver/sharepoint library.

The online training 'connect form to a database' says you can use this for
MS Access and your data will simply 'fly away into the access
db'...unfortunatley its not quite happening for me!!

Can you please advise what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you.

Tiffany,

In order for the Database option to show up on the submit configuration
dialog, you must start the form as a "New from data connection": File |
Design a form | New from data connection | Select your access DB.

Good luck,
Alex @ Microsoft
