Hi,
My boss just upgraded my software to Office 2003 and
wants me to learn how to use InfoPath.  I have taken the
tour and feel I can struggle through but I couldn't find
the answer to one question.  If you create a form for
others to fill in, do they have to have InfoPath also to
be able to view and fill them in?  If not, how to you
save/publish it to be viewed?
Please help,
Joyce

Hi Joyce,

Yes, other users need to have InfoPath installed in order to fill in forms.
While filling in forms, they can be sent as email or saved to a Web Archive,
and persons without InfoPath can view them in their email client and web
browser, but cannot fill them in.

Thanks,
Brian

I teach an online class and need a way to let students fill in forms.  The class is on Blackboard and I have been using the forms feature in Word, but am not satisfied.  This posting seems to say that all my students would have to have infopath installed in order to fill out the forms.  If that is correct, your product has no value to me.

Am I right in my assumption?
