Have setup 2 data connections for my two levels of submission.  have two rules;
1) if cost centre equals '0901001 CENTRAL PAYMENTS 002' and total amount is
less than or equal to £250 then submit via email to one data connection.
2) if cost centre equals '0901001 CENTRAL PAYMENTS 002' and total amoun is
less than or equal to £500 and greater than £250 then submit via other dta
connection.

Neither of these work although the submit to dbase is fine.  I also have
this working on another of my forms but with only 1 condition.  Any ideas?

One other thing, after setting up these rules if i go in to modify 1) or 2)
the summary of the condition is just a repitition of the first 3 letters of
the condition ie CosCosCosCosCosCosCos.... .  If i simplify the condition to
only looking at one field it performs fine but introducing the second
condition seems to confuse infopath.

The condition is still there. You've run into a bug in InfoPath that causes the condition to not display currectly... thus you see "CosCosCosCosCosCosCos". If you edit the condition, you will see that it is still intact.

Indeed clicking edit corrects the display but if you close the dialogue box
and open it back up again it returns to the CosCosCos state.  Futhermore, as
per my original problem i cannot get my rule check to run against a
combination of 2 fields as in my original post.  I just thought the strange
treatment of the condition might help explaining my problem with this
combination of conditions for my rules.  As below I have a value field and a
cost centre field.  My 2 rules conditions say if cost centre =A and amount is
less than or equal to £250 then submit to A1.  My second rule's condition
says that if cost centre = A and amount is less than or equal to £500 and
greater than £250 submit the form to A2 and so on but these rules will not
apply. When i click the button it says i have submitted my form but  it
doesn't actually submit to either A1 or A2 using A as the cost centre.  It
submits fine to the DBase but i need these rules to work to save two people 3
weeks work a month.  Can you help?
