When I create a new Infopath form based on an Access database table, the data
source in InfoPath defaults to being a repeating group.  I can see in the
properties for the group that the check box for Repeating is checked but it's
disabled and I can't un-check it.  I don't actually need any repeating
sections on my form.  How can I prevent the data source from being designated
as a repeating group?

Hi Theresa,

The behavior you are seeing is expected - chances are your Access table
contains more than one record so you would use a Repeating Table or
Repeating Section so you can display more than the first record.

However, if you truly need to do this you can place just a "Section"
control on your form and when prompted choose your data table but you will
only get the first record displayed.

I hope this helps but let me know if you have additional questions
regarding this behavior.

Thanks!
