Hi, I wanted to get the first digit from a 5 digit identification number, and thought that I could use the formula Floor(IDNUMBER/10000). However when I try to use the formula I get a node-test expected error. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong and appreciate any help Thanks Rohan Hi Rohan, Try this: floor(select your field) / 10000 ** NOTE: Notice the "space" before and after the division symbol - this is needed.
