Hey guys,

I will try and make this as short as possible.  Basically I have 3
companies each with the same 6 identical forms.  Now I am publishing
these forms to 3 different subareas for security purposes.  So in each
area there will be 6 Form Libraries.  No problem so far publishing
these forms!  Now each company has a unique ID that we want to use (for
data mining purposes later on)

What I am looking to accomplish is this:

1.  When a user Clicks on the "Fill out this Form" button within a
sharepoint area and opens infopath I want the Customer ID number to be
automatically populated in the appropriate field on the form.  So when
company A goes to their form library it populates a uniquie number into
the form.  And when company B goes to fill out the same exact form but
in a different form library within SPS the corresponding Unique ID
number is entered into the form.

Can this be done through Infopath or some kind of custom coding?

Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated

Jay

I am taking a stab at this...

Would you be able to use Roles and have that define the CustomerID?
