info path form in SPS 2003 form libary

I have published a form to a form libary within SPS2003, however when
I try to modify the Columns order within the libary the columns are
not show. but they are shown on the default view.

any ideas

Do you mean gridlines are not showing in design view?
In design view you click on Table - Show Gridlines

If you are trying to change columns like you can in Excel, I would be amazed
if the first release of InfoPath had that capability.

no, this is under columns and settings and selecting change order of
the fields, this fields are not displayed
