Hi:

I have a existing form that was created from the status report template.
This form has unwanted fields and I would like to remove them. However, these
fields are locked and do not give an option for deleting them. Is there a way
I can delete them?

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks,
sripri96

Most likely not by using Infopath UI. If you extract the form files
(File>Extract Form Files) and then go and play around with various files like
the myschema.xsd, manifest and so on, you could potentially remove it. (Make
sure you back up the original .xsn file before you do!)

Thanks Anton for getting back. I looked at myschema.xsd file and they have
only the fields and groups that I need. I do not see the fields that I need
to remove.

Thanks,
