I'm trying to create an MSI with regform, but keep receiving this error:

"Error: Microsoft Visual Studio version number is missing or is invalid."

I have Visual Studio 2003 Enterprise Architect on the system. I tried on
another machine that has both VS2k3 and VS2k5 and receive a similar error,
but it complains that it doesn't like Visual Studio 8. Creating a .js works
fine on both machines. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Michael

Hi Michael,

Are you sure that you have the latest version of RegForm.  Did you try to
download the latest InfoPath SDK (11/11/2004) to reinstall.  It may be a
pre-sp1 /sp1 issue.

Franck,

I reinstalled the Infopath SDK off the MS site, and unfortunately I'm still
having the same problem. I'm running Infopath SP1 with the newest infopath
SDK. Could I be missing something from the vs.net 2k3 installation?

Thanks for your help,
Michael Lopez

I'm getting the Visual Studio 8 error, as i have recently installed the
VS Team Explorer.  Is there a way to tell regform to use VS 7, or is
there a newer version of regform that fixes this issue?  thanks!
