Reading a concatinated field from SharePoint into Infopath

Hi all,

Is it possible to pull in a concatinated (calculated) field from SharePoint
into Infopath? When I go to Infopath and set up my link to a SharePoint list
library, I can see all the fields except the ones that I concatinated.

Is this another limitation of Infopath or even SharePoint?

Thanks for help, anyone.

Thanks for the advice Frank, but that info is a little more than I can
handle. I am fairly new to Infopath and SharePoint and know even less of XML
coding. I was just looking to see if concatinated 2 fields in a SharePoint
list if I could pull that list in an Infopath dropdown box.

I can pull all the other fileds but the concatinated one, for some reason I
cannot even see the filed.

I was hoping there was something either in SharePoint or Infopath that would
allow me use the concatinated field.

Thanks for the help though.
