Sharing Form overnetwork

Hi,

Firstly, have to say I don't know anything about Infopath....

A user here wants to share some forms with his colleague (who is in the same
domain). So I created a share on his PCs forms directory, and gave user2 full
rights to it. On user2s PC, mapped a drive to the shared directory and
created shortcuts to the forms. But when he tries to open them he gets the
following error message.....

"Insufficient Security Privilege

This form cannot be opened because it requests domain security level
and is only allowed restricted security level. Based on the information
in the form, the file should be located at
file:///(long path on host machine) in order to open with the correct
security level."

I've read some posts here which suggest making the form 'Full Trust', but
that seems to apply when someone is trying to open a copy of the form rather
then the original. So is this the solution or should I try something else?

Many Thanks

Hi,

Try to change the security level (Tools / Form Options / Security?  Select
"Domain").
Your form will need to be Full Trust if you go across domains.

Hope that it helps.

Thanks for the response Franck,

I opened the forms on the host PC and changed the security setting to
'Domain' as suggested. But the other PC still won't open them (same error
message). Is there something I've missed?
