ok - I am sending a few sales guys out to collect some info from sales
outlets. They may or may not be able to record responses to questions on
their laptops as they ask the questions - worst case scenario they scribble
responses down and complete the form when they get back to the ranch.

What I was interested to know is:

1. Could I create forms in Infopath which could be sent to SQL via Exchange
for data analysis?
2. What is the licensing model i.e. CALS/Server license?

cheers

Hi,

Yes InfoPath would work great for that scenario.  Their laptop doesn't have
to be connected to submit data.  They can collect information first and
upload them to SQL once back in the Office.
Each user would need an InfoPath license on their laptop.
