Hello,

I have developed an InfoPath data entry form that has a sql server
backend. The development cycle of the form is complete and we now want
to deploy the form for the customer to use from outside our intranet.
The data will still be stored on our sql server.  The customer will
have InfoPath on their computer.

What are the steps that I need to take in order to deploy the form to
the customer's computer (which is outside our intranet)?

Thanks very much,

Elridge

Hi,

You have 2 options:
1. Use digital signatures.  If you can digitally sign the form, then
installing it on the server alone will work and no client machine
installations will be required.
2. Fully Trusted form.  In that case, you will need to install the template
and register it on every client machine.

Regards,

Franck Dauché
