I am a college intern developing HR forms for a small company over Christmas
break. We are using a SharePoint team site with individual form libraries and
the employees are getting confused when it comes to clicking the "Fill out
this form" button so we wanted to put a link on the corporate portal that
opens the form, instead of having the employee deal with the form libraries.
The Problem I am having is that some forms will not open from a link, and I
will get an Insufficient Security Privilege message "This form cannot be
opened because it requests domain security level and is only allowed
restricted security level." I have the "Automatically determine security
level based on forms design" box checked on every form, but some have
problems and some do not.  To top it all off, it seems that only some PCs are
having this problem, a limited number of employees are sending in e-mails
complaining that some will open and some will not, we cannot find a common
thread(IE security settings, service packs, InfoPath versions)...... ANY
ideas are more then welcome..... THANKS

I found that if the form is called from the original form library (
where it is published to) the form works okay, but if you try to use a
hyperlink to call the form it doesn't always work.  This appears to be
related to security related to the form location.

Just some thoughts and obersvations.
