Can I query for an existing record modify that record and then update it in
the Access Db using Infobase?  I would prefer not to implement web services.

Hi,

I'm assuming you meant "InfoPath" and not "Infobase"?

If you were referring to the former, the answer is yes. If your scenario and
database are simple enough, you could use the "New from Data Connection"
option when creating a new InfoPath form to tie your database to the form.
Then you could use a master/detail control to retrieve and update records as
desired.

Hope this helps.
