I am just starting to learn how to use infopath.  I design a form and have
all controls within the page width guide.  However, when I print it out, or
go to print preview, the controls expand in width and fall off of the page.
Does anyone know how to prevent this?

If you open the properties page for the control, there is a place where you can set sizes (width, height, etc). You can set it to use pixels, inches, ems, etc... whatever you need to make sure it stays true to the printed page.
