Hello, I am brand new to InfoPath and am just now starting to research
the product.  I am a bit confused on a topic though.  So far from what
I have read, InfoPath is a client product with Office 2003.  This
client is where users will create forms as well as fill out forms.  Is
there an infopath server version as well or is this strictly a client
product that gets published to a server or Sharepoint Portal library?

I appreciate the clarification.
Thanks!

This is client based only. Each user must have infopath to view the xml
docuemnt correctly. As far as server based you can use Sharepoint as atype of
server based infopath storage. The users can then import and export infopath
docuemnts from the sharepoint server.
