I am trying to submit an Infopath form to a ShrePoint form library. I believe
I have tried everything possible within the standard InfoPath/SharePoint (no
programming) and it will not appear in the form library.

When I use the standard (toolbar) 'save' function, the form is properly
saved in the list. However when I use 'submit' I get a success message but
the form is not in the list.

are you sure you are uploading to the expected form list?
take a look in design mode at the connection property

otherwise restart the submit wizard so you are sure

Thanks for the quick reply!
I am pasting the URL from the SP list into the Submit / Data Connection
dialouge in the Data Connection wizard.

My path is
http://cornet/sites/departments/it/itpm/ksts/IT%20Request%202/Forms/

I have tried it with the %20 and with blanks and I get the same behaviour.

You don't want to publish it to the Forms folder.  Take "Forms" out of
the path and just publish it to the root directory of your forms
library.  I bet if you look at your library in explorer view, and go
into the forms folder you'll find your submitted forms, but library
expects them to be in the root to be displayed.
