All,

I would like to auto increment a control value when ever a new row is
inserted and adjust the numbers when ever the row is deleted in a repeating
table.

Appreciate any inputs on this.

regards,
Srik

HI Srikhere,

Try out the below steps:

1.Click on control, drag Repeating table, and select one column.
2.Go Down to Advance section and drag Expression Box.
3.Click on fx button and click on insert Function.
4.Select ‘ALL’ in category section and ‘Count’ in Function section and click
ok.
5.Click on ‘Double click to insert field’ and insert field 1.
6.Then click ok.

Hope this will help You.

Thank u,

Hi,

You can give the autonumbering a control dynamically in the repeating table
based on the insertion/deletion of a row  using the "xpath" of that control
in the repeating table. For the details go through the given link.

If u have any problem in giving/mentioning the "xpath" of the control fell
free to ask.
Thanks.
