Hi,

How can I include a pasword-textbox in an IP form (or at least the
functionality)?  The wingdings approach is not a suitable one for the
application (because it can be copied and pasted as simple text in notepad
for example).  The password box would be used for user authentication; the
credentials of the user that is logged-in cannot be used because all users
would use the same public account to fill-in the forms.

Thanks.

Hi Jaime,

You can put the password field in the task pane which can be attached to the
IP form. I have written a "How to" on this and will be Uploading this in a
couple of days to www.infopathdev.com. I will Post you the Link as soon as it
is done.
