Hi all -

My name is Greg Shields and I just completed deploying an InfoPath solution
to my company.  We’re seeing some intermittent problems with Temporary
Internet Files on some clients (but not all).

I read a post to the microsoft.public.infopath newsgroup from 3/1/04 where
someone described clearing cache and cookies as a solution to this problem.

The link for your comments in that post is:
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.infopath/browse_frm/thread/5898f
68408d6df68/cfbb4cf588ea62b1?q=temporary+internet+files&rnum=1#cfbb4cf588ea62b1

I’ve had my users do this, and it seems to solve the immediate problem.
However, the problem re-occurs from time to time.  It only appears to break
on certain systems, and only intermittently on those systems.

I’ve additionally verified that the systems include MS04-038 as noted by
q-article 843605, but still no luck.

Has anyone heard anything more about a fix to this problem?  I can’t seem to
find anything anywhere and my users are growing disenfranchised with InfoPath
when they have to clear cache and cookies all the time.

Thanks so much!

/Greg Shields
