I've had to adjust the definitions of some of my databases, changing some
floats into nvarchars. I've gone through all of the data connections,
getting InfoPath to read them again and to update the schemas for the
secondary data sources.

However, when I try to preview the form, I get this:

The following DataObject either cannot be created or cannot be initialized:
AuthorisationLimits
The query cannot be run for the following DataObject: AuthorisationLimits
InfoPath cannot run the specified query.
[0x80040E07][Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server] Error converting data
type nvarchar to float

It seems to me that some path of InfoPath still thinks that one of the
fields in the data source is a float, but I'm darned if I can find it.

Any suggestions?

What about your main data source has that been affected?

Cheers Adam

Also

it points to one dataconnection in particular AuthorisationLimits

It is this data source that is causing you a problem
