Display border in drop down list box when printing in InfoPath?

InfoPath form shows a border around the drop down list box, however, when you
print the form the border does not print.  The option to add a border to a
drop down list box is grayed out.

Insert the dropdown into an empty section (use myFields if needed), size the
section to fit your dropdown, and give it borders. Now you'll have your
border to be printed.

When I go in to select the border, it is grayed out (Format, borders &
shading, borders, outline).
