Hi,

I made an Infopath form which has 3 views. The 3 views have a same
repeating table but each has a different filter. I also added a rule to
the repeating table to set value to the xml data according to the
current view when user adds a new row to the repeating table. But after
I adding a new row, then switching to another view I can see the new
row appears in the view ,  but while which should be filtered out.

The data is right because after I save the form and open it again,
everything is just fine.

I'm using the Infopath SP2.

Thanks.

This is expected behaviour. We did not want to have your data disappear on
you right after entering it because it didn't meet the filter's
requirements.

Thanks for your reply Bojana.

I will set a value to one field of my xml data when user clicks the
"insert" link of the repeating table according to the current view and
the data should be filtered based on the value of this filed later when
user switch to another view. The data is correct but the filter will
not work until I close and open the xml file again. Is this by design?

Thanks,
Bruce

I am having the same issue and would have expected the filter to work when I
toggle to a different view of the data - as it stands the filter just doesn't
work as expected.

Is there atleast a setting or a work-around that one can use to force the
data to be filtered?
