I'm trying to get a number from a table setup in excel. It's very similar to
a multiplication table. the "x" row have 1-12 and the same for the "y"
column. In my case it deals with distances. In the chart it shows xLocation
and yLocation. At the point they meet is the miles traveled. I would like for
that value to be displayed in a text box. I have looked in 3 book stores for
a book on InfoPath. Apparently, it's not that popular. I would prefer to have
the book cause I can reference it faster. Everything I find online is bits
and pieces and it's frustrating. Is there a better way to do this? is there a
link to a website i can go to? any help is appreciated.
Thanks.

Not too long ago I posted a step-by-step solution for how you can create an
Excel miles chart within InfoPath using XML. Search in this newsgroup on "How
to descibe Excel Mileage Chart table". See if that's what you were looking
for.

If it's still unclear, I'll convert it into a "recipe" (= solution) with
clearer instructions and post it on my website
(http://enterprise-solutions.swits.net) this weekend.
