MS Office Forum / General MS InfoPath Questions / April 2006Need to Unlock form in WSS
I was editing a form and InfoPath crashed. I sent the message to MS and rebooted. Now when I try to open the form for editing from the WSS library I get message that it is in use and I can only open it Read-Only. How can I fix this? TIA Dean When forms are in this state, they are only locked for a limited amount of time. I don't recall how long... but probably around 10-20 minutes. One way to fix this is to copy the file to your local drive, then upload it back to the server. It then unlocks the form so you can work with it again.
