I am trying to find if and then how to use infopath to input a task in
outlook.  We are using outlook 2003 sp2 and infopath 2003 sp2.  Has anyone
done this and would you be willing to share?

Try this MSFT support article for adding the task:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=162371. Of course you would still have to
add an event handler to the InfoPath form to run this code and perhaps also
retrieve values from InfoPath fields to use in the code when creating the
task.
