I just started using InfoPath 2003.   I have setup my Database and connection
and form.  When I add the submit button it does not provide me with the
select database in the Submit to box of the submitting forms dialog box?  I
can select email, sharepoint library, web service, web server, submit by
codes, submit by rules, but don't have the database option.  I am following
the microsoft how to guide, step 5. What am I missing? Any assistance
appreciated.  thanks vjg

There's a good article on the web site Infopathdev.com about creating
database connections.  One point that you should check is whether you
specified primary keys on each of your database tables.  It sounds like
Infopath isn't displaying the database option because you haven't met all the
requirements for the data connection to be made.

Primary keys are one thing to check, the other is that you are not including
fields from tables with data types that aren't by Infopath. The last screen
of the data connection wizard should tell you if the connection will support
submit.

I had the same problem. I found that I had set up the form first and then
inserted the connection...wrong.  The connection needs to be set up first.
You can then drag the necessary fields into your form and the submit should
then indicate your database. I found the tutorials on this web site very
helpful. Try reading the one entitled "An introduction to submitting InfoPath
forms. Good luck!
