Editing a form

I've built a basic Access database and an Infopath form to populate the
database easily. However, I'd like to make some changes, and add some
fields... but if I add them to the Access database, I do not see the new
fields when I go to data sources in InfoPath! Can I refresh the list of data
fields from my database? If not, it seems as if I have to recreate my form
completely from scratch so that I have all the fields open to me.

Am I missing something? I understand that InfoPath is designed to run from
Access/SQL database, but it seems really counterintuitive and hard that I
cannot add new fields to a form I have already created.

Thanks!

Here's what you can do:

- Go to Tools > Data Connections...
- Select the main connection for your form
- Click on the "Modify..." button
- Select the checkbox for the newly added field so that it gets included in
the data source for your form

After I choose modify, I don't get a list of checkboxes -- I get a wizard
trying to tell me to rebuilt my connection files, and when I choose my
database fiel it tells me it can't execute some query... huh?
