Hi,

I'm still a newbie with InfoPath and I made two separate forms that I link
via a control button. I think it would be better for me to just create
another view and have the second form as a part of the main form. Is there
some easy way I can merge this form files into one and add the second as
another view?

I appreciate any help!

thanks,
Andrea

Hi Andrea,

your question is not clear ,How many forms you have and how you want to
work with them .will you provide clear details?

I have two forms. One is a customer setup form where users will input
customer data. This form has two views currently. One for entering data and
one that's for printing it. The second form I have is an order form. I
basically have a repeating table with fields for entering sku numbers and
quantities. Currently, on the main form (customer setup) I have a button that
hyperlinks to the order form and opens it. What I would like to do instead,
is add another view to the main form and put the order form there and not
have it as a separate file. I'd like to have one infopath file for this whole
form.

Thanks for your help.

Hi Andrea,

Yes, you can place all the views in the same infopath form and set user
roles for those views. so that only specified role can edit the view.
