Hi,

Just wondering if I'm missing something or have some sort of corrupt
install.

When you insert a layout table in design mode in infopath, should it be
invisible?

I can sort of see the cells when I make a selection over the area, but
no grid-lines, and I've tried "hide/show gridlines" but to no avail?

Cheers,
Mike

There is a button in the toolbar which hides/shows layout tables when in design mode. You must have accidentally clicked it. It's called "Hide Gridlines" and appears right next to the Borders And Shading icon in the same toolbar.
