As I am entering data into the default Change Request form in InfoPath 2007,
I cannot see the data I am typing unless I move to the next field, be it
another text box, button, etc.  I can see a blank space, like a placeholder,
and if I spell a word wrong, as I hit space to go to the next word, the
letters appear and the red wavy line appears under the misspelled word.

I have not tried “Microsoft Office Diagnostics,” nor have I started all of
the applications yet.  I have registered the suite.

Any thoughts?

Thanks.

Have you also installed Internet Explorer 7?  There is a bug in IE7 that is
causing this.  (InfoPath uses IE's HTML rendering engine to display HTML so
IE bugs will show up in InfoPath as well.)  Btw, this has been fixed by IE
recently.
