Newspaper style columns in a repeating table?

I need to have a repeating table using Newspaper layout.  Anyone have a clue
how to accomplish this?

Do you mean where you insert columns instead of rows?  If that's the case,
InfoPath 2007 includes a new Horizontal Repeating Table control that might
work for you.

would this be compatable with a IP2003 client?

Here's how I want the data to flow:
r1    r4
r2    r5
r3    r6
