I have a form I am using in infopath 2003 and want the software to prefill
boxes throughout the document with information that is recurring.  How can I
do this?

Most likely what you are looking for is a feature that's not very discoverable:

Go to Tools | Edit Default Values.
In the Edit Default Values dialog box, locate your repeating node.
Right-click that node and choose 'Add another test below'.
Repeat this until you have the number of nodes you want.
Then go back and select each data node to be pre-filled and provide a default value for it.
