Hiding a button based on User Roles

I'm trying to hide a button if the user is not a specific network
user... I create a rule that says if the user's current role is not
equal to domain\user_1 then "hide this control". This works fine with
one user... but if I add more than one user there seems to be a limit
of 4 conditionals. Well I need to 8 users to this rule. I've tried
instead to use "groups" instead of "users" but this doesn't appear to
work at all. What should I do in this situation?.. Why does it give me
the ability to user network groups if it doesn't support them properly?

After creating the condition for a user, select "The expression" from the
first drop-down box, and type " and " behind the expression that appears in
the textbox. Take a second condition, select "The expression" from its first
drop-down list box, copy the expression from its textbox, and paste it after
the expression in the textbox of the first condition. Keep appending as many
conditions as you like this way by joining them with the text "and".

Thanks... but any idea why adding AD Group's to user roles doesn't work
properly?
