Hello there,

I recently published an InfoPath form to our SharePoint Form Library
which worked fine.  I then had to rejig the form slightly by adding a
few additional fields and didn't remove any of the previous fields.

Now I have the following problem:

If I try to open a new form, the form opens fine
If I try to open a form that used the previous template, I get the
following error message:

InfoPath cannot open the following file: Change Control Form.xml
The form contains schema validation errors

Further details provided on this show the following:

Element
'{http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2006-06-06T11-18-10}sign
atures4
'
is unexpected according to content model of parent element
'{http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/infopath/2003/myXSD/2006-06-06T11-18-10}sign
atures1
'.

Expecting:
atures5
.

What does it mean? I'm so confused

Anyone's comments would be extremely helpful.

Thanking you in advance
Jane

Sounds like someone made some changes to the form template where they added/deleted/moved some nodes in the schema.

You will need to find out what updates were made and then use a text editor to correct the form's XML so that you can open the form in InfoPath again.
