Hi I am creating an Infopath form that is connected to a database. I need to
hide 3 sets of fields. I believe I should create a section and name it within
the schema of the form only (it will not be connected to the database). THE
PROBLEM: when I add teh section to the from and try to put controls in to it
infopath creates a repeating section within the section and says that it will
not work properly. Any suggestions?

Are you adding data bound controls to the section? If you need to hide
fields, just don't add them to the view.
