I have a group of users called "Illustrators". I would like to populate
a drop-down list using active directory with every user in that
specific group. I would prefer to see code in C# since thats what the
rest of my code is already in.

I am currently using this
(http://weblogs.asp.net/jan/archive/2004/03/16/90533.aspx) method to
populate the drop-down with every user from the sharepoint site, but
I'd either like to filter that list or use the above method.
