Hi,

I have just spent about 3 hours trying how to set the default saveas
name of a file in code before finding out that I can actually just set
the form up to submit to SharePoint and automatically name it based on
a field in the form.

I have now removed the save option from my forms hoping to rely just on
the submit option but now I have another problem. If I open a form to
edit it, when I submit the form again I get an error message. Does
anyone know if it's possible to get around this without enabling the
save and save as buttons again?

Regards,

David.

When setting up your data connection for your submit, you need to allow
overwriting. Its a check box on like the third screen.

Let me know how that works. I have some other ideas if that doesn't.

Thanks Josh, no idea how I missed that!

Kind regards,

David
