The code in the article is written in JScript. You will either have to
translate the code to VBScript or switch language (see

Thank you for your response. I unfortunately have many examples for
infopath that are coded in JScript. VBScripting is the preferred
language in our business environment. I was hoping to find an example
of how to achieve this using VBScript. I am having the very same issue
with attempting to obtain a username in an InfoPath form without having
to use Visual Studio .NET. The examples I have to achieve this are all
in JScript. Do you know of a software that will permit me to easily
convert JScript to VBScript?

Sorry, unfortunately I do not know of any tools to convert JScript to
VBScript. But that doesn't mean that there aren't any out there. It is a
common request, so you could do a search on the web to see if you come up
with something.
