Wild Card Error Message

I attempted to incorporate the option to use a wild card operator when
querying an InfoPath form. To do this I used the example on the
microsoft site http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826992.  I followed the
directions and when I attempted to preview my form I received the
following error message.

InfoPath cannot open the selected form because of an error in the
form's code.
The following error occurred:

Invalid character
File:script.vbs
Line:23
{

I am not sure why this is happening. I am using InfoPath 2003 and I
design in VBScript.  My data connection is to an Access database. Our
technical department has already verified that I have everything
properly loaded on my computer.  Any ideas?

The code in the article is written in JScript. You will either have to
translate the code to VBScript or switch language (see
http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;828853&spid=2515&sid=229).

Thank you for your response.   I unfortunately have many examples for
infopath that are coded in JScript.  VBScripting is the preferred
language in our business environment.  I was hoping to find an example
of how to achieve this using VBScript. I am having the very same issue
with attempting to obtain a username in an InfoPath form without having
to use Visual Studio .NET.  The examples I have to achieve this are all
in JScript.  Do you know of a software that will permit me to easily
convert JScript to VBScript?

Sorry, unfortunately I do not know of any tools to convert JScript to
VBScript. But that doesn't mean that there aren't any out there. It is a
common request, so you could do a search on the web to see if you come up
with something.
