I am trying to updaate a second drop down menu when the first drop down is
selected. So the scenario here is that the first text box has 12 values and
each value is connected with the values in the second drop down by a foreign
key relationship. However, I haven't been able to establish a foreign key
relationship in Infopath. I am using a SQL Server connection to populate both
drop downs with values from their respective tables.
So for e.g. I select a value in the first drop down, i want the second drop
down menu to be updated in accordance with the value selected in the first
drop down. If I select "MSN Worldwide" from the frist drop down, so I want
all the values related to "MSN Worldwide" to be updated in the second drop
down.
I would really appreciate if you could shed light on how to go about making
this work.

Thanks,

When you are setting up the data source for your second drop-down, use the
"Filter Data" button in the bottom left corner of the "Select a Field or
Group" dialog box to be able to set up your "foreign key relationship"
between the two drop-downs.
