Running outlook 2002 in xp, and I am trying to compact my pst file, which is
approx 1.7 in size, almost maxxed out. I have dleted many old garbage, and
need to compact to see the result. unfortunately, my compacting is taking
very long. It is not approx 1 hour since start. I tried to do it on another
machine here and it took only 15 seconds (but wasnt sure of the size). Should
this really take this long, or am I missing something?

I appreciate any help you can offer
