When trying to publish a template (any template) to one of our servers we get
the error "the following url is not valid"
The problem is not the template, and its not the publishing computer. we
published the same template from the same computer to other servers without
issues.
I searched the net and found the following solutions, none worked:
* Stop the event notification services (this will solve the problem
if you are on a single server without a network - for example a virtual pc)
* Create a new SSP and assign all web applications to it
* I installed infopath on the server and tried to publish to localhost.
* I cannot skip the publish to the site (for example uploading the
template to the form templates gallery) , since the publishing mechanizm is
changing some files in the template that I need changed and I cant do it
manually.
any thoughts ?
