Hello All,
I have been reading a bit about UDC files and have created one to use
however infopath won't let me use it because it's not sitting on a
sharepoint server. We aren't actually storing our forms in sharepoint
and in fact we don't use sharepoint at all. Can i still specify a UDC
file for my connections?

thanks,
Erin

After some more research I have realized that this cannot be done
through infopath alone. I ended up writing a utility that can do this
basically what i did was i updated all of the connectionstring
attributes in the manifest.xsf file.  You have to unpackage the xsn
file first, find the manifest file, update it and repackage the xsn
file. It's actually not that hard.
Thanks,
Erin
