Data Connection That Will Add a New List Item to SharePoint List

Hi everyone,

Outside of submitting a form to a SharePoint form library, I need to create
a data connection that will be used by a button on the form to add a new item
to an existing SharePoint list.

I'd like to do this without chaning any code, but if I have to then I will.
I see that there is a Web service option when creating data connections that
submit data.  Is this the best way?  If so, how do I set this up so that it
points to the SharePoint list that I want to add a new record to?  I do have
total access to the server if needed.

thanks!
