Updating ODC in InfoPath 2003

First, I am using InfoPath 2003.

I created a new form based on a database connection to a SQL table. But when
I created the ODC, I set it as NT user authentication rather then a fixed
name and password.

Is there anyway to update the ODC to change it?

I would hate to have to redo the entire form.

Art, did you manage to find an answer to this question?

I myself have never tried it, but I can imagine that if the structure of
your table hasn't changed, you could just modify the connection to point to
another ODC using a different type of authentication without affecting the
fields on your form. It all depends on the schema that InfoPath spits out
after you make the connection; if this schema hasn't changed, there shouldn't
be a problem.

It took a two step process

Create a new ODC but name it the same as the old

Then modify the data connection and reselect the same updated ODC.

I had nothing to lose.

There are two points whre you have to confirm you want to save the static
password in the ODC and in the form itself.

But it did work.

Now I know.
