I set up a site in SharePoint Services 3.0.  IT works great.  I published an
InfoPath '03 form to it.  That works great too.  But I don't want to store
the data in XML files.  I want to use SQL Server.  So I created a table and
used it as the data source for an InfoPath form.  I published it to
Sharepoint.  I click the New button in the Sharepoint document library I let
it create for me and up pops my form.  I fill it in and submit it.  It says
it is successful.  I check the database and the data is there.  But the
Sharepoint list is still empty.  I added a few more rows--using the New
button in the document library.  Same thing--data in the database but not
the list.  When I close the form it asks if I want to save it.  If I say yes
I can give it a filename and it will save the data to an XML file.  Then
that file will appear in the list.  But I don't want that.

Is there something I need to do to get the entries in this table to show in
the Sharepoint list?  What am I doing wrong?

Hi John,

Pretty sparse on the response side here - sorry I don't have an answer to
your question, but I just wanted to confirm that you've managed to publish
from InfoPath 2003 to Sharepoint Version 3 - I'm not able to achieve this and
I can't find any info regarding compatibility between products.

Can you confirm the above? It will help me tremendously in approaching this
problem.

thanks,

Steve

Hi Steve,

Yes, I can publish InfoPath 2003 to SharePoint Services v3.0.  Unfortunately
I don't know enough about either of these yet to be of any help to you.  I'm
still learning it myself.  But I was lucky enough to get that to work.
